Posgrado en Ciencia e Ingeniería de Materiales

This project address the synthesis as well as structural and microstructural characterization of ceramics aimed to be used in different environmental and energetic applications. Within this context, the main topics are related to the gas sorption, their chemical conversion and production of added value products. Based on that, some specific research lines are:

1)Synthesis and characterization of dense and porous ceramics

2)Capture and chemical conversion of carbon oxides (CO and CO2)

3)Sorption and selective catalytic reduction of  NOx

4)Hydrogen production (H2) through heterogeneous catalytic processes

5)Development of dense ceramic membranes and reactor membranes
